Why This Cause Matters to Me
I care about this because I met my wife of 16 years who has hearing loss. From the day we met, our relationship was a unique one, and I learned new ways to communicate and adapt to my life with a person with hearing loss.
I’ve experienced second-hand what challenges people with hearing loss experience on a day-to-day basis.
When I saw my wife give a personal account of how Hear Québec impacted her in a positive way, it inspired me to learn more about the organization and volunteer my time to help people with hearing loss.

Hear Quebec's Peer Mentoring Program is led entirely by people with lived experience of hearing loss. They know what it’s like to struggle and what it takes to adapt and thrive.
