I care about this because I helped build Hear Québec more than 45 years ago with a small group of volunteers who believed people with hearing loss deserved connection, dignity, and real support. I’ve seen how isolation can quietly take over when communication becomes hard. This community helps people feel understood, supported, and never left to navigate hearing loss on their own.

Our Peer Mentoring Program is led entirely by people with lived experience of hearing loss. They know what it’s like to struggle and what it takes to adapt and thrive.
