My name is Andrea Lepore, and I'm a board member and fundraising co-chair at Hear Québec.
As someone with hearing loss who uses a cochlear implant, I understand through lived experience the profound importance of community, connection, and support. I know firsthand not only the communication challenges people with hearing loss navigate, but also the meaningful triumphs that come when we feel understood, validated, and included. Hear Québec plays a vital role in supporting us in this way, and in showing others just how essential the right supports can be. It has been instrumental in helping me feel that I belong.

Hear Québec's Peer Mentoring Program is led entirely by people with lived experience of hearing loss. They know what it’s like to struggle and what it takes to adapt and thrive.
